Regional Conslutative Workshop for Nepalgunj region of LGCDP was organized on 16-17 December, 2016 at Cygnett Inn, Nepalgunj.

Regional Consultative Workshop for Dhangadhi Region of LGCDP was organized on 14-15 December, 2016 at AFNO GHAR TEMPLE RESORT (AGTR).

International Volunteers Day 2016 was celebrated at Hotel Yellow Pagoda, Kathmandu, Nepal. The event was organized by UNV Nepal in coordination with other volunteering organizations in Nepal. During the event, winners of the competition I volunteer-here's my story were also awarded.

The 8th National Advisory Committee (NAC) meeting of LGCDP, Phase-II was held on 30th November 2016 under the chairpersonship of Mr. Kedar Bahadur Adhikari, Secretary, Ministry of Federal affairs and Local Development (MoFALD). The DP Chair for the meeting was H.E Mr. Jorg Frieden, DP chair and Ambassador, Embassy of Switzerland, and DP Co-Chair, Mr. Tom Wingfield, Team Leader, DFID.

The 18^th Sub National Advisory Committee (Sub NAC) meeting of LGCDP, Phase-II was held on 17^th November 2016, under the chairpersonship of Mr. Reshmi Raj Pandey, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Federal affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) and National Programme Director LGCDP II.

ICT Experts from LGCDP participate in a capacity building training themed "Database and Automation Training for Development of monitoring and evaluation tools" organized in Kathmandu.
